Capoeira: Afro-Brazilian Martial Arts and Dance is a free, all-ages class open to the public. The weekly class is held each Saturday from May through October from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Seattle Capoeira Center in the North Rainier neighborhood*. The class teaches Capoeira, an African-Brazilian martial art and alternative form of education that encompasses music, dance, self-defense, bodily awareness, health, nutrition, and history.
The class is designed to accommodate all experience levels. Please note that all participants must wear long pants. All participants must wear long pants–please no shorts or skirts/dresses. Also, no shoes or socks are permitted on the training floor.
